Crude oil gathering pipeline heating
Supports stable transfer from well pads, gathering stations and field manifolds.
The Explosion-Proof Crude Oil Circulation Heater is an industrial electric circulation heater engineered for continuous-flow crude oil heating in recirculation loops, gathering pipelines, transfer lines, unloading loops and oilfield process systems. It raises crude oil temperature in a controlled heating chamber to support viscosity reduction, anti-wax flow assurance and more stable downstream transportation.
For hazardous oilfield areas, XGTHERMAL can configure the heater body, electric heating elements, insulation, instruments and control cabinet around the site's process pressure, crude properties, temperature target and local automation interface.
This product is used where crude oil must keep moving through pipelines, manifolds or circulation loops under changing temperature, viscosity and wax-content conditions.
Supports stable transfer from well pads, gathering stations and field manifolds.
Raises oil temperature to reduce pumping resistance in heavy or waxy crude service.
Helps keep the medium above critical wax-deposition conditions during transportation.
Provides controlled heat input for exposed pipelines and station loops in winter operation.
Can be supplied as a heater body or a skid-mounted package for brownfield process upgrades.
In field transportation, crude oil heating is rarely only about reaching a number on the outlet thermometer. The heating path must handle viscosity, wax behavior, surface temperature and hazardous-area safety at the same time.
Cold crude increases pressure drop, pump load and unstable transfer in gathering pipelines.
Heating duty, surface heat load and residence time are configured around the crude property and flow condition.
Maintaining a suitable temperature window helps reduce wax build-up and unexpected line restriction.
The heater can be designed for once-through pipeline heating or recirculation loops. XGTHERMAL can integrate process nozzles, flanges, insulation, temperature and pressure instruments, flow protection and local control cabinets according to project requirements.
Crude oil circulation heaters should not rely on simple on/off heating alone. A project-specific control system can regulate heating output and protect the heater when flow, pressure, leakage or temperature moves outside the permitted operating range.
Outlet-temperature feedback can be used for automatic heating adjustment and operator visibility.
Power output can be adjusted smoothly to reduce thermal shock and unnecessary cycling.
Low-flow protection helps prevent dry heating and abnormal surface temperature rise.
Independent alarm and shutdown logic can be configured for heater body, outlet medium and control cabinet.
The following ranges are typical product capabilities. Final power, pressure, material, flange rating and control configuration are selected after reviewing the crude oil property, flow rate and site conditions.

XGTHERMAL has supplied electric heating systems for projects connected with CNPC / PetroChina, PipeChina and Sinopec. In China’s petroleum and petrochemical sectors, qualified heater suppliers must pass technical review, explosion-proof compliance checks, safety documentation review and field performance verification.
This project record places XGTHERMAL among the specialist electric heating manufacturers trusted for demanding oil and gas applications. Redacted cooperation records, contract references or project supporting materials can be provided for qualified procurement discussions.
Share the process medium, duty range, installation limits and control requirements. XGTHERMAL can configure the heater body or skid package around your project rather than forcing a catalogue model.
